Job Title: General Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant school in Evesham, Worcestershire. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide general teaching assistance and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general teaching assistance to students, including support with lessons and activities
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Support students with special educational needs, including SEN/SEMH
  • Assist with classroom management and behavioral support
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Patience and understanding when working with students
  • Nurturing and kind mindset to support students' emotional and social development
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN/SEMH)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
