{"Job Title": "Audit Assistant Manager", "Job Summary": "We are seeking an experienced auditor to join our team as an Audit Assistant Manager. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with the Audit Manager to ensure service excellence. This role is split by 80% audit and 20% accounts/tax. You will plan audit engagements, lead onsite teams, and prepare accounts and tax computations. You will also be a go-to advisor for clients, building professional relationships and adopting a proactive approach to problem solving. Additionally, you will oversee junior team members, including managing workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage a diverse portfolio of clients
* Plan audit engagements and lead onsite teams
* Prepare accounts and tax computations
* Be a go-to advisor for clients
* Oversee junior team members
* Work closely with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
* Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function
* Support business development for the firm

**Requirements:**

* ACA / ACCA/ or equivalent qualified
* Experience leading external audits from planning to completion
* Good understanding of UK GAAP and FRS 102
* Previous client facing experience with good relationship building skills
* Strong working knowledge of audit software, such as Caseware
* Confident using the Microsoft Office suite
* Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
