We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Ecologist to join our team at Access Talent Group. As a Senior Marine Ecologist, you will be responsible for leading high-profile offshore projects in the UK, Ireland, and internationally.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, including offshore wind farm developments, and to apply your expertise in marine ecology to complex projects. You will be involved in both field and desk-based work, and will have the opportunity to broaden your project experience by working with a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project managing projects and line managing junior staff
  • Working knowledge and experience of EIA (and/or EcIA) for coastal and marine developments, particularly marine renewables
  • Knowledge of relevant marine environmental legislation and policies of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and/or Republic of Ireland
  • Expertise in one or more of the following marine ecology topics: benthic subtidal and intertidal ecology, fish and shellfish ecology, or marine mammal ecology
  • Experience of working as part of a team, including liaising with other technical specialists
