Building Cost Manager Leicestershire

We are looking for an experienced Building Cost Manager to join our team in Leicestershire. As a key member of our project team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the cost and value of M&E installations on construction projects, including preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets.
- Monitor and manage project expenditure, ensuring costs remain within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to resolve any cost or contractual issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building regulations, contracts, and standards, as well as proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite. A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred but not essential.
Benefits and Salary:The salary for this position is £40-55k plus car allowance, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including expenses to get to sites fully covered. We also provide a benefits package disclosed to shortlisted candidates.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on M&E projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in construction.
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite.
