Job Summary

Kier Group is seeking a skilled Temporary Works Advisor to join our team in the engineering consultancy division of Kier Professional Services (KPS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a broad range of Civil & Structural related services in both Temporary and Permanent Works throughout the Kier business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in shaping the Temporary Works Design Briefs and tender applications
  • Liaise with in-house and external designers to ensure effective collaboration
  • Inspect installations and audit site operations to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Train and mentor a wide range of colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a professional Engineer from a Design and/or Contracting background
  • Track record in the design and management of cost-effective temporary works schemes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
