Volunteer Greeter

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as a Volunteer Greeter at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to help us deliver exceptional patient care and provide a welcoming atmosphere to our visitors. As a Volunteer Greeter, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive a warm and respectful welcome.

Main Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assist patients and visitors with navigating the hospital facilities.
• Provide information and support to patients and visitors as needed.
• Work collaboratively with hospital teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and respond promptly to enquiries.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Basic knowledge of hospital procedures and policies.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential.
• Certificate of Good Character or DBS check may be required.

The estimated salary for this position is £16,000-£20,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a rewarding benefits package, including training and development opportunities, pension scheme, and annual leave entitlement.
