Nxera Pharma is a technology-powered biopharma company seeking a Lead Cyber Security Analyst to protect their computer systems and networks from cyber threats.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will implement security measures, monitor for and respond to security breaches, and provide recommendations for improving the organization's overall security posture.

  • Lead line management of cyber analysts.
  • Support business-as-usual (BAU) and project work within Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Design, implement, and manage security solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server.
  • Monitor computer networks for security issues and investigate security breaches.
  • Install and use software, such as firewalls, Anti-Virus, Analytics, and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information and systems.
  • Maintain system and network security within company guidelines and any legal requirements, such as PCI, GDPR, SOX, CSV, and NIST.
  • Conduct penetration testing to simulate an attack on the system to highlight and fix vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in Cyber Security environments.
  • An understanding of security frameworks and concepts used in dispersed organisations, such as Hub & Spoke topologies and remote working.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure AD, Microsoft Single Sign-On, Microsoft Defender P2, Intune, and Conditional Access Policies.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services, including Sentinel, Vulnerability Management/ASR, Data Loss Prevention, and Email Protection.
  • Good knowledge of Windows 10 and 11.
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and 2022.
  • Good understanding of Computer Networks: LAN, VLANs, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi.

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
