Regulatory Compliance Specialist

A leading distributor of products and logistical services to manufacturing businesses worldwide is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist. The company, with a global presence in 8 countries and 180 staff members, boasts a sales turnover exceeding £200 million and aims to reach £800 million within the next 5 years.

They provide comprehensive solutions to top OEM and EMS companies, encompassing global product sourcing, traceability, electronic product design, logistics, supply-chain management, anti-counterfeit testing, and obsolescence management.

This role will require a strong, confident individual who can effectively manage demanding relationships with salespeople. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with national and international export controls, HMRC policies, BIS export controls, and licensing requirements.
• Classifying products/orders and obtaining necessary licenses.
• Supporting export shipping activities, including documentation and licensing.
• Continuously monitoring and improving processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conducting internal compliance checks to verify all sales activity adheres to applicable legislation.
• Assisting with compliance visits and audits.
• Overseeing import/customs entries, providing clearance instructions, and maintaining internal records.
• Coordinating collections/deliveries, including imports and exports.
• Ensuring timely shipment delivery to customers.

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist with:

• Knowledge and experience managing UK, EU, and US export control regulations.
• Familiarity with EU/US customs requirements for customers and suppliers.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet business goals.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

This is a full-time position with standard working hours. In exchange, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £38,000 to £40,000 per annum.
