Oxclose Community Academy, part of Laidlaw Schools Trust, is seeking a visionary leader to head its dynamic Performing Arts department. With state-of-the-art facilities, including a double-height dance studio, music teaching room with technology, and a full theatre, we provide specialized training and practical experience for our students.

As **Head of Drama/Performing Arts**, you will lead a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity in music and the performing arts. We are committed to providing vocational qualifications that equip our students with valuable skills and knowledge sought by employers.

We offer a competitive salary of **£45,000 - £55,000 per annum**, commensurate with experience, to attract an outstanding practitioner who shares our passion for teaching music and commitment to high standards in teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a music teacher or existing department head looking to make a difference in our vibrant academy and community. They will possess an unwavering commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
