About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to work within Mental Health & Learning Disabilities throughout all Health Board sites.

As a Night Nurse, you will be responsible for caring for patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. You will need to have the flexibility to take part in a full shift system including nights and weekend working, on a three-shift system.

As a member of our team, you will be committed to exploring innovative ways of working to enhance patient experience.

We want Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to be an enjoyable and fulfilling place to work. We offer free parking across all hospital locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care

Requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification
• Ability to work flexibly, including nights and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment
