Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Cranmer House in Fakenham. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals for our residents.

This permanent position involves working 10.5 hours per week, with a shift pattern that includes weekdays and weekends. You will become an integral part of our resident's home through daily interaction, not just at mealtimes but throughout your working day.

Your role will involve preparing and cooking food, supervising the onsite catering team, and ensuring the delivery of the catering service in the absence of the Cook Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment with an organised approach. A good understanding of the food industry, ideally with knowledge of textured modified diets (IDDSI), is essential.

A passion for delivering fantastic customer service is also required, alongside strong communication skills and an adaptable approach to work.
