Automotive Maintenance Expert

We are looking for an Equipment Mechanic Professional to join our team at the Arnold Clark Group. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing our customers' vehicles for the road ahead, focusing on safety and attention to detail. You will work efficiently as part of a capable team and have the opportunity to develop your skills with a diverse range of manufacturers and models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.
- Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
- Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.
- Road testing vehicles to check repairs.
Requirements:
- A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
- The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner on your own or as part of a busy team.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach.
- The ability to accurately follow written and spoken instructions.
Benefits:
- Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Training provided to become an EV Accredited Technician.
