We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in one of our Special Schools in Sheffield.

The school is a Primary Special School that caters for those four to eleven years old with a range of Special Needs and Disabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to deliver tailored educational programs and activities to meet the individual needs of students.

The salary for this role is £84-95 per day, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday (8:30 - 15:30), and requires the ability to travel to S8.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Learning: Assist in the delivery of educational programs and activities to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of SEN: A good understanding of various special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning difficulties, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.
