We're currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our growing team at our Gatwick depot. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.

What We Can Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of £16.47 with overtime pay of £24.71 after completing full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Our HGV Class 1 drivers are responsible for driving our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods from depots to clients and other sites within the Hermes network. You'll be responsible for:

  • Collecting and delivering parcels safely and efficiently
  • Updating paperwork and assisting depot staff with heavier items
  • Tail-lifting, loading, and unloading your own vehicle

Essential Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements, driver's CPC, and digital tachograph
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A safety-first mindset
  • Reasonable physical fitness
