Supporting Secondary Schools in Warrington

Connex Education is seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to support schools in the Warrington area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a classroom of 25-30 students in the absence of a teacher, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a classroom of students in the absence of a teacher
  • Implement lesson plans and activities to engage students
  • Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff
  • Support students with special needs and abilities
Requirements:
  • 21 years or older
  • Degree or equivalent in any subject
  • Proven ability to manage large groups of children
  • Experience working with children and/or vulnerable adults
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Engaging and confident individual
  • Good communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual
  • Adaptable and available 8.15am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday, 3+ days a week (term-time only)
