We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Vet Nurse to join our team at a first opinion small animal practice in the sought-after Eastbourne area of East Sussex.
Role Overview:This is a full-time opportunity with a 4-day week, including one in four Saturdays, with no Sundays or out-of-hours work. The role is varied, with theatre work, kennels, laboratory duties, and nurse clinics equally shared amongst the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a small animal clinic setting
- Assist in theatre work, including surgical procedures and post-operative care
- Contribute to laboratory duties, such as blood sampling and testing
- Participate in nurse clinics, providing health checks and advice to clients
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve excellent patient care and practice goals
- Qualified Registered Vet Nurse with experience in a small animal clinic
- Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary package up to £32,000 per annum
