Job Title: Associate Building Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Associate Building Surveyor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our property consultancy, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice on construction, renovation, and ensuring compliance with building regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on construction, renovation, and building regulations to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to gain a deep understanding of their requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on findings from site inspections and assessments.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion with a focus on quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years post charter (MRICS) experience.
  • Established Associate looking to move into more managerial activities while still strong on project delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge and competence.
  • A logical and practical mind with good oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Negotiation, presentation, and report writing skills with the ability to analyse problems and identify solutions.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Dynamic and prepared to get involved with company processes, software, and automation of company outputs.
What We Offer:
  • Salary from £70,000 + dependent on experience + package + benefits.
  • Flexible working up to 2 days per week.
  • 26 days holiday (excluding bank holidays).
  • Private healthcare.
