Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Fortescue Zero. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering department, you will be responsible for completing preventive and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance to manufacturing equipment, fixtures and fittings, as well as building systems and any business supporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete routine maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules
Perform weekly checks as required, including yard checks, fire doors, emergency exits, and legionella
Carry out minor building fabric repairs, decorating, and general ad-hoc tasks
Manage fire Marshall and First Aid duties
Control contractor management duties

Requirements:

Practical skills and experience in Electrical & Mechanical and/or Multi-skill qualifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation and organizational skills
Knowledge of statutory compliance and contractor control management
Physical fitness, with the ability to manually handle items and use ladders
Willingness to learn and develop in a way to help the department and the business
Clean driving license
