Salary
We offer a competitive salary of £20,000 per annum, paid weekly on a pro-rata basis due to part-time working hours.
About the Role
This exciting opportunity is available at Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, where we strive to build a culture that respects and celebrates individuality. Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, including cooking, presenting, and plating dishes
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen
- Ensure effective communication with colleagues, management, and customers
- Represent Chartwells in a positive and professional manner
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- DBS clearance (Enhanced) and Children's Barred List check
