Job Summary:
Firth Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Support Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and process financial transactions, including invoices and receipts.
- Manage the credit control function, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies.
- Capture and process supplier invoices, and make timely payments.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
- Process all aspects of payroll, including employee data and benefits.
- Support the Finance Director with month-end accounts tasks and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Awareness of HMRC regulations and reporting procedures.
