Chief Executive Officer

FPG is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead and scale a start-up Fibre Company with a proven track record in Fibre Networking P&L experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Leader to drive, lead, and oversee all aspects of the company's operations, delivering fibre connectivity to urban areas.
The role requires a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with experience in senior management positions, start-up and scale-up organizations, and strategic planning, financial management, and operational oversight.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and transitioning organizations to deliver growth, managing large-scale telecommunications projects and teams, and championing innovation and the adoption of new technologies.
The Business Lead will have delegated authority from the company's board to make and drive operational decisions, and will be responsible for formulating and executing the company's strategic business plan, overseeing corporate governance, and driving a performance-oriented culture.
The role involves regular engagement with key stakeholders, including Chief Executive, Board Members, Senior Management, and external bodies such as INCA and Connected Britain.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, able to drive commercial opportunities and develop the company's brand awareness.
The company represents the culture and values of its parent organization within the telecoms industry and maximizes commercial returns from telecom fibre assets.
The General Manager will be responsible for delivering the company's 5-year business plan, focusing on strategic and financial objectives, and executing year 1 mobilization objectives, including connections and customer service, company establishment, and organizational design.
The role requires a strong ability to manage complex, challenging, and often competing priorities, while delivering excellent customer service and realizing financial returns.
The company is looking for a Business Leader who can drive the organization in competing and generating commercial opportunities, while developing the company and its brand awareness.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the executive leadership team, working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and other senior leaders to drive the company's strategic objectives.
