This job is part of a major transformation program aimed at improving adult social care services within the local authority. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the review of current services and developing a new operating model to support colleagues in providing more effective responses to those who rely on adult social care. This will involve conducting a thorough evaluation of existing services and identifying areas for improvement. Once the new model is developed, you will be responsible for taking it through the business case development and planning stages, ensuring that all necessary changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently.

What we're looking for
We need someone with significant experience in delivering large-scale change projects, particularly within the adult social care sector. You should have a deep understanding of current ASC related legislation and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to develop compelling business cases and negotiate complex decisions with senior stakeholders. In terms of technical skills, you should be proficient in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall. A salary of £500 per day (negotiable dependent on experience) is offered for this challenging and rewarding opportunity.
