About This Opportunity

We are excited to offer an exciting career opportunity for a skilled Planner to join our planning and architectural team at Pertemps TM in Exeter.

This role involves leading residential projects in the rural planning sector and working closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Prepare policy documents, project proposals, and tender responses
  • Assist in the growth of business opportunities
  • Consult with stakeholders and other interested parties
  • Negotiate with developers and professionals
  • Monitor planning application outcomes
  • Analyse data to inform strategic decisions
  • Present plans and reports to clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant Planning degree within MRTPI / RTPI / RICS
  • Experience working with CAD software
  • Strong project delivery skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of land use legislation
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the South West
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £26k - £38k DOE (Depending on Experience)
