We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Assistant to join our team at Play Sports Network. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process business expenses and communicate with suppliers
- Process E Commerce transactions and reconcile supplier statements
- Set up new suppliers and maintain supplier communications
- Process purchase invoices and ensure timely payment
- Raise sales ledger invoices and support credit control
- Reconcile revenue streams and match costs
- Support finance management with month-end processes
- Assist with year-end close and audit
Requirements:
- Looking to start or working towards a finance qualification (e.g. AAT)
- Good Excel/Google Sheet skills
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience in using accounting systems and broad experience in finance activities
- Ability to prioritize and time manage
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in a media or business services environment
- Experience in using Sage and understanding of double entry
- Proactive and supportive attitude
- Willingness to attend the office to perform duties and collaborate with the wider business
