An excellent opportunity has arisen with Insight Select for a highly skilled Internal Communications Specialist. The successful candidate will foster effective communication and engagement across the organisation.

This role involves driving culture change rooted within a new performance framework, implementing and evolving creative communication strategies to keep colleagues informed, inspired, and aligned with their core values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communications planning development: Implement an internal communications plan and framework, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • CEO business partnering: Act as the CEO's internal communications business partner, supporting with leadership visibility, key messaging, stakeholder events and presentations, and enhancing the company's reputation.
  • Directorate business partnering: Partner with the executive leadership team to develop internal communications that support strategy, enhance employee engagement, and reflect our values, promoting a positive work environment.
  • HR engagement lead: Work with our HR team to develop and deliver the employee engagement strategy, support the organisation with engagement initiatives, and foster a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Channel management: Manage current internal communications channels, ensuring they are fit for purpose and evolve in line with metrics and feedback, driving continuous improvement.
  • Event management: Lead on organisational away-days, social events, and town halls, including event development, facilitation, management, and communications, creating engaging experiences for employees.
  • Content creation: Create engaging and compelling content for internal communications channels, including intranet articles, email announcements, organisational events, and presentations, showcasing the company's story and values.
  • Message development: Develop key messages and talking points to ensure consistency across directorates, teams, and levels of the organisation, promoting a unified voice and message.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • 3+ years' experience within a communications role, preferably in a smaller tech organisation.
  • Experience engaging with senior leadership teams, building strong relationships and influencing key decisions.
  • Experience with Sharepoint building, developing, designing, and writing communications via various channels such as articles and blog posts.
  • Proficient in multiple communication tools and platforms, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Good understanding of storytelling and presenting data, able to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
