Care Home Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Team Leader to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Residential Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our residents. You will be responsible for leading and supervising our Carers and Senior Carers, working closely with a Registered Nurse or Care Practitioner to ensure that individual care plans are followed and that our residents receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of Carers and Senior Carers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to residents.
- Work closely with a Registered Nurse or Care Practitioner to ensure that individual care plans are followed and that residents receive the best possible care.
- Ensure that residents have lots of quality one-to-one time and that their independence, privacy, dignity, and choice are respected.
- Record observations on things like weight and blood pressure, and carry out simple wound dressing procedures as required.
- Be a role model for your team and someone that residents and their families can trust to provide a safe, reassuring, and happy environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need senior-level care experience and have supervised others in the past. You will also need a Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, and a willingness to undertake the assessor qualification. You will be enthusiastic, tenacious, and full of integrity, with a caring approach and strong communication skills that inspire trust in others.
