Vegetation Surveyor

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Vegetation Surveyor to join our team in Sheffield. This exciting opportunity involves working with our multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver vegetation surveys and botanical assessments across various projects.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Aiding and conducting detailed botanical surveys and habitat condition assessments.
• Assisting in the preparation of biodiversity management plans and botanical inventories.
• Supporting the integration of botanical expertise into biodiversity net gain (BNG).

We require a highly motivated and experienced individual with:

• Demonstrable experience in botany and habitat assessment (at least 2 seasons' experience).
• Knowledge of botanical surveying techniques and plant identification.
• Familiarity with biodiversity assessment tools (e.g., DEFRA Metric) and GIS systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Membership with CIEEM.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a competitive salary with annual bonuses, retirement plan, and flexible working arrangements.
