Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of fit out projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Management: Read and interpret contracts, identifying key terms and conditions to ensure project success.
- Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve favourable terms and pricing, and communicate effectively to ensure project goals are met.
- Cost Estimation and Control: Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for fit out projects, and monitor project costs and expenditures to identify potential cost savings or overruns.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and prepare and submit payment applications and valuations in accordance with contract terms.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor agreements and resolve any contractual disputes that may arise, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Experience: 5-7 years+ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Fit Out industry.
- Contract Reading and Negotiation: Strong understanding of contract reading and negotiation.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure project success.
- Time Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or construction management are advantageous.
