Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Software Developer to join our team at our Head Office in Plymouth. As a Software Developer, you will be involved in the following activities:

  • Participate in AGILE process activities as a software developer in the team
  • Participate in software development activities, including analysis of input technical specification, software design, development, testing and maintenance
  • Support current software builds where required
  • Support external teams in understanding, using and testing the product
  • Participate in or drive improvements to the product, tools and processes
  • Depending on experience, support and mentor other team members

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in designing distributed software architectures in C#.Net, ASP.Net (preferably web forms, but MVC or.Net Core beneficial)
  • Experience of modern development methodologies
  • Good understanding of database solutions (T-SQL, PL/SQL or MYSQL)
  • A background in software development or equivalent
  • Knowledge of JavaScript (any industry recognized library)
  • A good understanding of AGILE methodologies
  • Ability to work within a transversal team
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Degree level education in Computing or equivalent experience
  • Experience in software continuous delivery of high-quality releases
  • Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment, within a self-organised team
