The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in PE or a related subject and strong subject knowledge. They will be able to deliver engaging and effective lessons, promote a healthy lifestyle, and encourage students to participate in sports and physical activities.
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and a supportive department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Promote a healthy lifestyle through participation in sports and physical activities.
- Prepare students for success in sports competitions and examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage participation in extracurricular sports and activities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in PE or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
