As a Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will work in a variety of clinical areas including Medical/Surgical Rehab, Neurology, Rapid Response, and Community. You will provide specialist Occupational Therapy to the allocated rotational areas and work as an autonomous practitioner to perform assessments, develop treatment programmes, and monitor progress.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing specialist occupational therapy assessments and developing individualised treatment programmes
  • Implementing monitoring and evaluation of treatment to measure progress and outcomes
  • Providing clinical cover during staff absence and participating in 7-day working, evening and/or weekend duty rotas, and emergency/on-call rotas
  • Identifying and carrying out home visits in accordance with Trust and Professional standards
