Job Title: Support Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team at Disability Equality (NW) Ltd. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, including hygiene and grooming.
  • Prepare nutritious meals to meet the individual's dietary needs.
  • Conduct light domestic duties around the house, such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Accompany the individual to various locations, including the gym, coffee shops, and shopping centers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic are crucial for this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build a strong relationship with the individual.
  • The successful candidate must hold a full clean driving license and have access to their own vehicle.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour for Thursday-Saturday and £15.00 per hour for Sunday.

The employee will also receive 5.6 weeks' holiday pay and be enrolled in a workplace pension scheme.

A DBS check is required and will be paid for by the employer if the candidate is successful.
