Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Fostering and other management team members to achieve service goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and departmental policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the recruitment and retention of foster carers and service development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in fostering and child welfare
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with foster carers, social workers, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of children in care, foster carers, and their families, with a commitment to improving outcomes and placement stability
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required
