About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Associate to join our dynamic and growing team in London. As a key member of the practice, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on a variety of legal issues, including:

  • Project Development: Structuring and negotiating renewable energy projects from development to financing and operation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant energy regulations, policies, and market rules.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Advising on the acquisition, disposal, and joint ventures of renewable energy assets and businesses.
  • Financing: Structuring and negotiating debt and equity financing arrangements for renewable energy projects.
  • Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Handling disputes related to renewable energy projects, including contract disputes, regulatory challenges, and claims for damages.

Requirements

  • An excellent academic record
  • A strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, markets, and regulatory frameworks
  • At least [number] years of experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on clean energy or related practice areas
  • A proven ability to provide high-quality legal advice and counsel to clients
