Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Monarch Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in a mainstream secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom, providing individualized attention and assistance as needed
  • Work with a range of students, including those with lower ability Maths and English skills, as well as those with behavior challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans and educational activities
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students, preferably in a school or childcare setting
  • Ability to work 8:15am - 3:15pm, Monday - Friday, during term time
  • Positive work ethic and passion for supporting students
