Learning Support Assistant

Academics is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in local primary schools. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and development, working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Contribute to the development of learning resources and materials, ensuring that they are engaging and effective.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date with best practices and new initiatives.
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, and Science (GCSE A* - C)
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Ability to engage and motivate students, promoting a love of learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good behaviour management skills
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
