We are seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Operations Manager to join our team at Rocket Staffing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our HGV trailer workshop, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of HGV trailer technicians and supervisors to achieve exceptional levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time, to the required standard, and within budget.
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Monitor and control costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience as an HGV trailer technician or workshop manager.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical fitting/assembly of HGV trailer repairs.
  • Team leadership experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
  • A SME 'doer' mentality - whilst it's an international manufacturing business, this is an agile, growing and highly profitable SME.
  • Driver's license.
  • Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering.
