Mathematics Educator

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Maths teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to KS4 pupils in an Outreach environment.

• Teach Maths effectively across the full range of age and abilities.
• Possess high expectations of pupils in relation to standards of achievement and behaviour.
• Contribute to the creation, implementation, and improvement of Maths schemes of work.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide additional support where necessary.
• Assess, record, and report on pupil achievement and set targets for further improvement.
• Use data effectively to identify underachieving pupils and create intervention plans.
• Establish a partnership with parents to involve them in their child's learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and prioritise time management.
• Take responsibility for professional development and share good practice.
• Contribute to department planning and developments.
