Welding Fabricator

GMP Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join their client\'s growing team in Lydney, Gloucestershire, on a Temp to Perm basis. 

This permanent opportunity is ideal for a qualified MIG Welder looking for a stable and secure working environment with continuous work. 

The hourly pay rates for this role are:

• Grade 1 - £11.98
• Grade 2 – £13.29
• Grade 3 – £14.72
• Grade 4 - £16.93

The working hours are:

• Monday to Thursday - 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
• Friday - 7:30 am to 1:30 pm

As a MIG Welder, your main duties will include:

• Welding of various materials (Vertical and horizontal)
• Operation of various machinery
• Quality checking of welds
• Working to a weekly/daily schedule
• Working to the highest levels of health and safety

Due to the location, it is preferred that you have your own transportation.

You will undergo an interview and weld test if your application is successful.

The ideal candidate will be a time-served, experienced MIG Welder who can demonstrate the ability to weld to high standards both horizontally and vertically, on both light and mild steel. 

This role is based in person at the client\'s site in Lydney, Gloucestershire.

The working schedule is Monday to Friday, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
