Teaching Opportunity in Engineering

GSL Education - London is seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher of Engineering to join our well-established client schools in Greenwich.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in engineering, to inspire the next generation of innovators and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons on engineering concepts, including design, manufacturing processes, and sustainability.
  • Develop students' practical engineering skills through hands-on activities and projects.
  • Inspire and motivate students to pursue careers and further education in engineering.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the engineering curriculum and contribute to departmental growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a degree in Engineering or a related subject.
  • Previous experience in teaching engineering, ideally within a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and an ability to make engineering concepts accessible to students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Enhanced DBS check on Update Service.
