Job Title: Education Support Worker
Location: Devon
Job Type: Permanent/Full Time
Salary: £23,940 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Support Worker to join our team at an exceptional school in Devon. The school caters to 60 pupils aged 7-19 with SEMH needs, providing small group and individualised learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual support and supervision for pupils, encouraging their engagement in the learning process.
- Plan and deliver parts of the learning or intervention programme for the young people.
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils as part of a professional team.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children and young people.
- An interest in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and empathise with young people.
- High levels of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm.
- Good general standard of education to Level 2 including GCSE Grade 4 equivalent in English and Maths.
- Ability to work between sites and at other outreach locations in the North Devon area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
