Senior Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our dynamic team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the continued development of nursing practice.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric emergency medicine and trauma, with experience in mentoring and teaching junior staff. You will be responsible for coordinating and providing skilled nursing care to patients, participating in the continued development of nursing, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities- Coordinating and providing skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct
- Participating in the continued development of nursing, including the supervision, teaching, and development of junior nurses and support staff
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients attending a busy paediatric ED/Acute Assessment Unit
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to facilitate holistic seamless care delivery for all patients
- Degree or Diploma Level Education as Registered Nurse (RN Child, RNLD or RSCN)
- Relevant post-registration qualification as required for speciality
- Current registration with NMC
- Leadership and Management training
- Teaching, Mentoring, and Assessors qualification
