**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Classroom Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Manage the classroom effectively, maintaining a safe and respectful environment for students and staff.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to regular teachers, supporting the development of students' skills and knowledge.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students, building strong relationships and promoting a sense of community.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching in a classroom setting, with a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Work in various schools within the Merton area, with the potential for travel between different school locations.
  • Working Hours: Full-time hours, typically between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
