As an Industrial Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate cost estimates for major infrastructure projects, working closely with our clients to ensure their needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost estimation models and systems to ensure accurate reporting and benchmarking of client costs.
- Provide professional advice on client infrastructure costs to stakeholders, including Procurement Specialists, Cost/Contract Management Personnel, and Project Controls.
- Collaborate with the Scheduling Team to ensure integration and alignment of cost models and schedules.
- Aid in the development of a benchmarking database and reporting process to provide timely and accurate advice to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Association for Cost Engineering (ACostE), or similar relevant professional association.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and government initiatives/policies.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
