As a member of our Infrastructure team, you will be involved in leading nationally important infrastructure projects, managing project programmes and budgets, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong botanical skills, including Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) level 4+, or demonstrable botanical ability matching this level. About the Role:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects, working with our diverse team of ecologists to promote innovative nature-based solutions across various market sectors. We are committed to delivering end-to-end projects and programmes for essential future infrastructure, using innovation, new approaches, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on nationally important infrastructure projects, managing project programmes and budgets
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and undertake stakeholder engagement
- Plan and undertake field surveys; analyse and interpret survey results
- Design and coordinate ecological mitigation
- Author and check/review ecological reports and licence applications
- Provide support and mentorship to other team members
Requirements:
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), or equivalent, and chartership (CEcol or CEnv)
- A degree in ecology or a closely related field
- Demonstrable project management experience, including technical, financial, and quality assurance aspects
- Strong botanical skills, including Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) level 4+, or demonstrable botanical ability matching this level
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
