Airport Equipment Cleaner

We are seeking a skilled Airport Equipment Cleaner to join our team at Manchester Airport. As an Airport Equipment Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of airport equipment and facilities.

SALARY: £11.75 per hour

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 on 3 off

CONTRACTED HOURS: full time

This role requires attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills. You will work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  • Vacuuming carpets and wiping down equipment and surfaces
  • Cleaning a range of aircraft to the specification provided by managers
  • Removing rubbish from the aircraft and disposing of it properly
  • Cleaning and restocking aircraft consumables
  • Conducting security checks of the aircraft and reporting any findings
  • Working under deadlines and in a teamwork environment
  • Ensuring familiarity with all areas of the operation and aircraft
  • Maintaining professionalism in appearance and manners towards colleagues, clients, and other airport staff
  • Cleaning all seats, seatback pockets, tray tables, and replacing soiled magazines
  • Folding blankets and storing them in overhead compartments
  • Exceeding Prime Flight customer service and safety standards
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and observation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask

  • Able to carry heavy loads and climb stairs
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced operational environment
