Financial Examination Position

Job Summary:

This is an exciting role for an experienced auditor or accountant looking to take the next step in their career. You will play a key role in leading audit assignments, preparing accounts, and mentoring junior staff. You will work closely with Directors and clients to plan assignments, ensure compliance with technical and client-specific requirements, and manage budgets for assignments.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend pre-audit meetings and collaborate with Directors and clients to plan assignments.
  • Lead and supervise audit teams, ensuring compliance with technical and client-specific requirements.
  • Design and execute risk-based audit approaches and audit tests.
  • Manage and control budgets for assignments, ensuring deadlines are met effectively.
  • Prepare accounts, tax computations, and management accounts for clients.
  • Finalize files for review by senior management.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff, fostering professional growth.
Candidate Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have recently or part-qualified ACA/ACCA and significant experience in audit within a practice environment. You should also possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven leadership capabilities.
