Summer Camp Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Summer Camp Manager to lead our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality school-holiday experience for children aged 5-17.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire our team members and campers alike. They will also have experience in a management or leadership position, preferably in a childcare or education setting.

The role involves administration and preparation before the season begins, communication with the team, planning timetables, and ensuring the venue is ready. During the season, the Camp Manager will be on-site from 8am to 5:30pm as the first-point of contact for staff, children, parents, venue, and our central office team.

As the designated safeguarding lead at the venue, they will deal with concerns in a timely manner, complete paperwork and risk assessments, respond to feedback, record incidents, and manage OFSTED requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver a high-quality school-holiday experience
  • Ensure the welfare of children is paramount, adhering to child protection policies and procedures
  • Implement behaviour management policy and oversee the use of equipment
  • Uphold health and safety standards and procedures

We offer a competitive salary of up to £605 per week, plus free enhanced DBS check and Kings Camps uniform. You will also have the opportunity to gain a funded paediatric first aid qualification and interact with parents/guardians.
