GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a specialised educational setting. Role Overview:
As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to students with ASD, helping them engage with the curriculum and complete tasks. You will also be responsible for implementing tailored educational plans and strategies to enhance the learning experiences of students with ASD.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing tailored educational plans and strategies for students with ASD to enhance their learning experiences.
- Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons, helping them engage with the curriculum and complete tasks.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages students to develop social skills and build relationships.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to adapt learning materials and methods to meet the individual needs of students.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with ASD or special educational needs is desirable.
