Job Opportunity:

Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Banana Moon Day Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

Banana Moon Day Nursery Gloucester provides a stimulating and secure educational environment for children, with a high quality of care and learning given to children at each stage of their development.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the leadership team in achieving our goals and objectives.
  • Be a Key Person, providing individualized care and attention to our children.
  • Support other key members of the team in their roles and responsibilities.
  • Attend to all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing, toileting, and hygiene, feeding, and helping at meal and snack time.
  • Focus on in-the-moment planning, allowing for more hands-on interaction with the children and increased time spent with them.
  • Everyday tasks include setting up the room, tidying away, carrying out risk assessments, completing observations, and liaising with parents.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired.
  • You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
  • Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.

Working Hours:

  • Banana Moon Day Nursery is open from 07:30-18:30 Monday to Friday.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed.
